Walk In Love | Faith Of Our Lord Jesus Christ

Walk-in love

Happy Sunday, family, the bible verse of the week – 3/21/2021 is in James 2:1. The message of the week is about the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. Walk-in love on to another in the faith of Jesus Christ.

The faith of our Lord Jesus Christ is that God loves the world, and Jesus Christ died for it. When Jesus went to the cross, he did not lay down his life for any one particular group such as tribe, tongue, race, gender, etc.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

God has shown us mercy and grace without favoritism. As believers in Christ, we should do the same.

For there is no respect of persons to God. Romans 2:11.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8.

If you show respect to persons, you sin.

Words similar to the respect of persons are favoritism, partiality, prejudice, bias, unfairness, discrimination, etc.

But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. James 2:9.

Walk in love

Love in faith

Because of his love for us, Jesus Christ died for our sins. He died; to save us from the penalty of sin, that is, death.

We are saved by the grace of God; through faith in Jesus Christ.

The faith of our Lord Jesus Christ should be an expression of love one to another. We are to practice love for our neighbor and not the practice of partiality.

If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well. James 2:8.

Law of love

The royal law is the law of love. Love God, and love your neighbor, sums up the ten commandments, Exodus 20:1-17.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:37-40.

My friend, here is a thought about faith and love. True faith and good works complement each other in that: faith brings a person to salvation, and love is the product of good work, working to assist you to a closer commitment in your relationship with God.

So moving forward, let us love one another with the love of Christ as we live our life, faithfully serving God.

Be Bless.
