God’s truth
Good morning, family. The bible verse of the day is in Romans 1:16. And it reads, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Here are my thoughts: The gospel of Christ is the power of God that saves us from the penalty of sin. It is that power that delivers us in our present time of need. The Lord continues to redeem us from the power of sin. The power of Christ enables us to live a holy and righteous life.
I will leave you with a thought and, that is: Think about the weight of serving God with your spirit and being free from the power of sin. That versus relying on your flesh and being defeated all the time by the devil.

God is our present help in time of need. He saved us from the penalty of sin and continues to succor us as we walk this life of faith in Him.
