Bible verses Word of God – The Holy Bible is the true living Word of God. 

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. Genesis 15:1.

And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Exodus 20: 1,2.

And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision. 1 Samuel 3:1.

For as God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. 2 Samuel 22:31.

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psalm 12:6.

The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem. Micah 1:1

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4.

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. Matthew 8:8.

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Matthew 12:36.

The sower soweth the word. Mark 4:14.

Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. Mark 7:13.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Luke 4:4.

And thy were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power. Luke 4:32.

And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! For with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and thy come out. Luke 4:36.

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Luke 8:11.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14.

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. John 6:68.

And the word of God increased; and the number of disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. Acts 6:7.

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. Romans 10:8.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with the wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1 Corinthians 1:17.

Verses word of God

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but, by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 2 Corinthians 4:2.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Galatians 5:14.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16.

Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. 2 Thessalonians 2:17.

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you. 2 Thessalonians 3:1.

For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4:5.

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine. 1 Timothy 5:17.

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22.

Being born again not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23.

Word of God

But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. 1 Peter 1:25.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life. 1 John 1:1.

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. Revelation 19:13.
