Bible verses joy – The joy of the Lord is gives strength to the needy.

But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy. Ezra 3:12.

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10.

The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the tress of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the son of men. Joel 1:12.

His lord said unto him, well-done thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will man thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matthew 25: 21.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Luke 15:7.
